Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the customer
You can cancel a reservation by contacting the operator at info@luciancarrental.cz or by phone at 728 135 969. To speed things up, quote your reservation reference LCR-YYYY-XXXX received after completing the booking.
2. Cancellation fees
Since payment is made on pickup, we charge no fee for timely cancellation. For late cancellation the following rates apply:
- More than 48 hours before the rental start — free.
- 24–48 hours before the rental start — a fee equal to one day’s rental price.
- Less than 24 hours before the rental start, or no-show without prior cancellation — a fee equal to two days’ rental price, up to the total reservation price.
The fee is payable upon the operator’s request. If a reservation deposit or security deposit has been paid, the operator may offset the fee against it.
3. Early return
On early return, the price for unused days is not refunded unless agreed in writing in advance.
4. Changing a reservation
The date or vehicle can be changed free of charge, subject to availability, if notified at least 48 hours before the rental start. Any price difference will be charged or refunded.
5. Cancellation by the operator
The operator may cancel for operational reasons (vehicle fault, accident by a previous renter, force majeure). In that case the operator will offer a comparable replacement vehicle or date, or refund all amounts already paid. No compensation beyond refunded amounts is due.
6. Complaints
Complaints may be submitted in writing to info@luciancarrental.cz. The operator will handle them without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.
This cancellation policy is effective from 13. 10. 2026 and forms an integral part of the terms & conditions.
